Woke up early this morning, ran a few errands, the kids were really excited that they'll be spending time tonight at grandma's. We had a great lunch, Genesis is learning to help set the table. Matthew and I had a Jedi fight and some boxing. He won, of course!!
Gees, today after Karla gave the kids a shower, Genesis steps out, goes to get dressed and boom returns looking all pretty. Man, I must be getting old.
Kids left and I am all alone :0( - damn I do miss my babies. C/S- S.S.

Real excitement was all over the house today, as Genesis, Matt and I marched into the offices to register for one of the most desired pre-schools in San Mateo. What a blessing! It took us a wole year to get her in but she made it and by default, Matt will also be able to get in by June of this year.
While filling out the forms and stuff, Matt brought along his Power Ranger action figure and Genesis her Barbie Mermaid. It was funny, because once I was done filling out the forms, the psychologist called us into her office and Matt went straight for the candy. Snatched a few for himself and some for his pocket. Genesis grabbed one and sat intently listening to the lady.
She starts this coming Monday! yupie!!
We have no eggs today : ( guess we'll have to go grocery shopping tomorrow.

Our study on animals is a lot of fun indeed. The kids have learned a lot this past couple of weeks. I can also sense them improving in their understaning of French and Italian, but every time I ask them to show their mama about how good they are becoming, they go mute- go figure!
Today I learned how to care for the kids with a monumental migraine headache and no medicine around. It was P-a-i-n-f-u-l.
The day was great though, Matthew asked me if he was like "Medicine" when he gets close to me. I think that's the greatest thing a kid can tell his father. I assured him that when he hugs me, the "magic" that springs from his heart heals me. He got real happy knowing that.
I can't write much today, as my headache persists. C/S - S.S.

Okay I get it - we have a schedule by which I have to wake up real early, prep breakfast and other miscellaneous stuff - without getting paid for it! This is amazing, I am learning how a housewife's work never ends...it's painful but rewarding.
We had a great time with the kids today, it seems Matt is in love with bugs and Genesis in love with their insides. Now don't be thinking that we go around opening up bugs, we have the books and we can see that kind of stuff from the safety of our home.
Plans for Genesis going to school are already on their way, we have to do a couple of this tomorrow and Friday and we'll be homefree. C/S - S.S.

Today was a mellow day, we spent the time with the kids teaching them a little bit of Biology, animals and art. My daughter seems to be quite inclined towards science, while Matthew likes the challenges of color and form.
I have story telling time, it's nice to be able to have them sit around me and telling them stories. They are also learning "coritos."
Today we were watching a show after dinner, the show was about this guy whose kids can't sleep and he has a hard time getting them to bed. Well, guess what happened later on tonight! - lo and behold, they both suddently developed a case of Insomnia. They kept coming out of their room to tell me a "secret", or a story of some kind...
I guess we'll sleep whenever we get to sleep, C/S - S.S.

Family needs, they are pressing and immediate. Today I woke up feeling real sick, the kids asked for food and I complied immediately - why? simple, I love 'em. I learned since real early that when one has kids, our very needs are put aside in order to comply with their needs first and foremost.
They had a hearty lunch, snacks, fruit, water, juice (and some gum) but I'm not telling Karla. : )
Not much happened aside from that untill tomorrow. C/S - S.S.

Sunday - today I woke up with a painful neck pain, I can't even turn to the sides. Karla gave me a "pastilla" of some kind to help ease the pain. Anyways, today was clean up day, we spent the day cleaning up and putting things in order. Well, I guess I won't be sitting on an power ranger by accident anymore - whew!
We had a great time with the kids, apparently my son is improving in his sword-fighting techniques, he's beaten me time and again. Genesis snuck up on her mom and asked her to give her a shower, while the tub was being cleaned up - I left it up to her mom to figure out what to do.
My mother-in-law also spent time with us, it was great because we spent time chatting, looking through old albums and discussing various subjects. C/S - S.S.
